模具制作：在进行其他任何工作之前需提前7至15天
如果您的马克杯造型是全新的，首先需要制作模具。一个简单的圆柱形马克杯模具需要7-10天；带有倒角或雕刻手柄的定制造型则需要12-15天。如果您选择工厂现有的造型，这一步无需等待，可为整个订单节省10天时间。 大多数买家并未意识到，选择现成造型是他们能够掌控的、对交货期影响最大的单一因素。.
样品审批：7-15天，每一小时都物有所值
模具制作完成后，我们会烧制样品并寄送给您。 样品费用为$20-100，另加运费，该费用可在下达生产订单时抵扣。样品确认周期为7-15天（含快递时间），这也是返工最频繁的环节：釉色偏差超过ΔE 2-3、Logo位置偏移，或马克杯无法达到标称容量。 请附上照片以书面形式确认样品，我们将以此作为生产标准。为了节省两周时间而跳过样品确认环节，是本行业中最昂贵的捷径。.
生产排程：采购人员常忽略的一环
样品一经批准，您的订单即进入生产队列。 实际烧制时间较短：素烧在约950°C下进行8-12小时，釉烧在1,240-1,280°C下进行10-14小时，此外还需冷却时间。瓶颈不在于窑炉，而在于生产队列。 在旺季（9月至11月，即节日礼品采购前），工厂的订单排期通常已满4至6周，10月下单的订单可能会比通常15至20天的生产周期延迟7至14天。如果您希望在10月前收到货物，请务必在7月前下达节日订单。.
质检和包装：3-5天，无法加快进度
烧制完成后，我们会进行全面检查：检查釉面缺陷、把手裂纹、容量，并对每批次的样品进行跌落测试。随后将马克杯进行包装。对于标准订单，质检和包装过程需要3-5天。 如果您要求采用100%检验方法而非AQL抽样检验，则需额外增加2-3天。如果您要求使用带内衬的精美礼品盒，则需再增加2-4天，因为礼盒的组装是手工完成的。.
时间线断裂之处
最令人头疼的延误往往是买家自己造成的：迟迟不确认样品、生产开始后更改徽标，或者错过了港口的装货截止日期。如果错过每周的船期截止时间，就得等待5到7天才能等到下一班船。 针对首次订单，我们的建议是：选择现成款式，在5天内确认样品，并在生产的同时预订运输。这样组合起来，就能确保门到门交货周期控制在30天内，而不是50天。.
Where the 25 days go
A 25 to 30 day production window is not a single queue, it is six stages that can each slip. Body forming and drying take 5 to 7 days. Bisque firing is 1 to 2 days plus a day of cooling. Glazing and the glaze firing take 3 to 4 days. Decoration adds 2 to 5 days depending on method. Sorting and packing take 2 to 3 days. The remainder is scheduling and buffer.
Two stages are the usual culprits. Glaze firing is where a new colour batches, so a first order with a custom glaze adds 5 to 7 days. Decoration is where a late artwork file cascades: a decal order that misses the print run waits for the next one, typically a week.
The reliable way to compress is not to push the factory, it is to lock the artwork before production starts and to accept a stock glaze on the first order.
Build the calendar backwards: retail launch date minus 30 days production minus 35 days sea freight minus 10 days buffer. That number is the date the artwork has to be final, and it is usually earlier than expected.
Sea freight is the second clock. Thirty to thirty eight days to Europe or the US, plus 5 to 7 days for port handling and customs, means a 25 day production run is really a 70 day project. Plan the retail date from the arrival, not from the order.
