Personalized Ceramic Mugs for Retail and Gift Programs
Personalization is a decoration question, not a ceramic one. The mug body is standard; what decides durability is how the artwork is bonded, and what decides cost is the setup per artwork rather than the mug itself.

Decoration method decides lifespan
A decal applied over the glaze and fired at low temperature looks sharp and wears off in a domestic dishwasher within a year. The same artwork fired under a cover glaze survives several hundred cycles. Laser etching is permanent because it removes glaze rather than adding pigment, but it only shows on darker bodies.
Where cost actually sits
At 500 pcs the artwork setup is a visible share of the unit price; at 5,000 pcs it is almost irrelevant. Buyers planning a programme should consolidate designs into fewer artworks rather than splitting 500 pcs across six logos, which multiplies setup six times.
Artwork requirements
Vector artwork at 300 dpi minimum, spot colours specified, and a note on whether the logo may wrap the handle. We return a digital proof before making the screen, and physical sampling takes 10–15 days.
Commande
500 pcs per artwork, colours mixed in one container. Retail programmes often pair a printed mug with a printed sleeve, which we quote separately.
Standard bodies: mugs en céramique.
Can we reorder the same artwork later?
Yes — screens are retained, so a reorder skips the setup charge.
Approval workflow
Digital proof within 3 working days, physical sample in 10–15 days, and production only starts after written approval of the sample. We photograph the approved sample and attach it to the order file, so a later dispute is settled against a record rather than a memory.
